Delivery

1. Timing & charges

1.1 Our online shop can only deliver to addresses in the UK.
1.2 Free delivery on all orders to the UK mainland.
1.3 Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands and Islands delivery costs will apply. These will be applied at checkout.
1.4 Orders received on weekdays will normally be processed within 3-5 working days, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. During our busier periods (Easter and Christmas) please allow between 5-7 working days for delivery.
1.5 Orders received during a weekend, a Bank Holiday or a Public Holiday will not be processed until the following working day.
1.6 Any delivery dates quoted are approximate only. DURING THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWN DELIVERIES ARE TAKING BETWEEN 7-10 DAYS DUE TO DEMAND.
1.7  Each product in your order will be your responsibility once the product arrives at the address you gave us when you placed that order (whether the product is delivered to you or to a person you nominate to receive delivery).

2. Delivery Information

2.1 We request that you provide us with your mobile number at checkout and you will receive a text message on the day of delivery to advise of a 2-hour window when your order will be delivered.
2.2 If you are not in when delivery is made, a card will be left with details of where to collect your order from or how to arrange re-delivery (where this is possible). Please note that if you do not act promptly to collect your order or arrange for re-delivery, the contents of your order will be returned to us and a full refund will be issued to your account.
2.3 You can nominate a safe place where your order can be left (e.g. with a neighbour or in the shed). No orders will be left at the delivery address unless we have your specific instructions to do so. Please note, if you instruct us to leave your order at the delivery address unattended, this is entirely at your own risk.
2.4 All orders consisting entirely or partly of goods containing alcohol require a signature from an adult who is over the age of 18. We will not deliver alcoholic products to anyone under the age of 18.

3. Returns

3.1  If you change your mind:  you have 14 days to cancel your order if you change your mind starting from the day that you (or someone you nominate when you place your order) receive your order, provided you have not opened or used any products and they are in a re-saleable condition (except in respect of clothing items where you have opened the packaging to check sizing and in such circumstances the original labels must remain attached). To cancel your order, please contact us by email at sales@westons-cider.co.uk. We may refuse the return or only offer credit for a future purchase if our returns criteria are not complied with in full.
3.2  Returning products after cancelling your order: Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel your order, you must return the products to us promptly, and postage will be at your own cost unless cancellation is due to our default/negligence. We recommend you obtain proof of posting. You must either post the products back to us at H Weston & Sons Ltd, The Bounds, Much Marcle, Ledbury, Herefordshire HR8 2NQ, or (if they are not suitable for posting) allow us to collect them from you. Please call customer services on 01531 660 233 or email us at sales@westons-cider.co.uk for a return label or to arrange collection. Provided our returns criteria are met, we will refund the full cost of your order by the same method as your original payment.
3.3  Returning faulty products: If you receive a faulty or unsatisfactory product, you must log a complaint as soon as possible, in any event within 6 months of delivery, by calling or emailing customer services (see above for contact details). Once we have acknowledged and accepted your complaint, we will offer you either a refund or a replacement product, and we will provide instructions about what to do with your faulty product. We will cover your reasonable costs of returning the product to us (if applicable) or we will arrange to collect it from you. Any replacement products are supplied at no additional cost in such

4. Vouchers

4.1 Buying vouchers: You can buy gift vouchers to join a tour of our site through our website. Vouchers ordered online will be sent by email or post to the recipient, whichever method is selected at checkout. Please note that tour vouchers must be sent via post to recipients. Vouchers are normally dispatched within 3 – 5 days, except where they are sent via email when delivery occurs within one hour of purchase.
4.2 Redeeming tour vouchers: Each tour voucher clearly states what the recipient is entitled to and they must be used within 12 months of the date of purchase. All tours take place on our site in Much Marcle. Please contact us via email at visit@westons-cider.co.uk to find out about tour availability and book onto a specific tour. If you are unable to attend your booked tour, you must contact us at least 48 hours before the tour is due to take place to find an alternative date. If you fail to give us the required notice, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to secure an alternative date in which case you may have to forfeit your voucher.
4.3 Validity of vouchers: All vouchers clearly state their value. Please check the details immediately on receipt and notify us of any discrepancies via email at sales@westons-cider.co.uk. We will not be responsible for and we will not replace any lost, stolen or damaged vouchers following delivery to the recipient. Vouchers which are defaced, altered or cancelled will not be accepted by us. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and cash refunds are not available for products purchased with gift vouchers. The re-sale of vouchers sold on our website is strictly prohibited.

Online Competitions

1. Online competitions run by H.Weston & Sons Ltd (“We” or “Our”) are open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over. The promoter of any such competitions will be H.Weston & Sons Ltd, a company incorporated with company number 00672234 and whose registered address is The Bounds, Much Marcle, Ledbury, Herefordshire HR8 2NQ.
2. These terms and conditions apply to Our competitions apart from Our competitions which have their own terms and conditions (in which case those terms and conditions will apply).
3. By entering one of Our competitions, you:
3.1 accept as final, and agree to be bound by, all of the applicable rules as set out in these terms & conditions and/or as set out in any competition publicity, notices or correspondence;
3.2 agree that the decision of the judges is final and accept that We will not enter into any correspondence regarding the decision of the judges; and
3.3 confirm that you are eligible to enter the competition and are eligible to claim the prize. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition (such as proof of age).
4. Entries must be submitted via Our website or via the relevant Instagram, Twitter or Facebook page as specified in the competition-specific publicity or terms & conditions. Entries must be received after the opening date and before 11.59pm (English time) on the closing date of each draw.
5. To enter a competition, you must follow the applicable entry requirements. These will be stated on Our website and/or via the relevant Instagram, Twitter or Facebook page.
6. Whether or not purchase is necessary in order to enter a competition will be specified on the competition-specific terms & conditions.
7. Late illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries or entries sent through agencies and/or third parties will not be accepted. We do not accept responsibility or liability for lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt and/or posting. We will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, regardless of cause including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
8. Unless otherwise specified in the applicable competition-specific terms & conditions, the winner for each draw will be drawn at random from all properly received entries in accordance with these terms & conditions and any competition-specific terms & conditions.
9. We will use reasonable endeavours to contact each winner within seven days of the closing date of the prize draw they have won. If We are unable to contact a winner during this time or if a winner is unable to accept the prize, We reserve the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
10. We do not accept any responsibility or liability if you are not able to take up the prize.
11. The prizes as described are available on the date of publication and unless otherwise stated will not include transport or accommodation. Prizes must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to accept the prize. To the fullest extent permitted by law, We accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage suffered through the acceptance of the prize.
12. One winning entrant in each draw will win the stated prize unless otherwise stated. We may substitute the prizes for a prize of an equal or greater value if, for any reason, the original item is unavailable. All prizes are subject to availability, are non-negotiable, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that We may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of the competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
13. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond Our control and accordingly We may at Our absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion without liability to you.
14. The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
14.1 employees (or their immediate families) of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; or

18. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. As these services are provided by third parties, other terms & conditions for use of those platforms will apply. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this competition must be directed to us, not Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.

We reserve the right at Our sole discretion to disqualify any person We find to be tampering or to have tampered with the operation of the draws, to be acting in violation of the prize draw terms and conditions, whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition, or for any other reason that We, in Our absolute discretion, decide to take into consideration.

Covid-19 Statement

During these difficult and challenging times, we have all made changes and adjustments to every aspect of our lives.

Here at Westons with the support of our colleagues, we continue to work through the ever-changing requirements of the COVID-19 pandemic with the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of our employees, customers and visitors as a priority.

To ensure we are operating safely we have conducted COVID-19 risk assessments and continue to adhere to the Government guidance as it develops.

Following these risk assessments some of the measures we have put in place include, introduction of hand sanitiser stations, increased cleaning of contact areas such as door handles etc. the introduction of social distancing measures and additional signage throughout site.

As we work through this dynamic situation these measures are continually reviewed and communicated to our colleagues, customers and visitors where necessary.

“Raise a Glass” Competition

These Terms & Conditions govern our “Raise a Glass” Competitions.  Celebrate our 140th anniversary of our passion for great cider by taking a photo of yourself saying “Cheers” and uploading this onto our website at  https://www.westons-cider.co.uk/raise-a-glass/.

We are running monthly competitions between 20th August 2020 through to 15th December 2020 (the opening and closing dates for each monthly competition are set out in these Terms & Conditions, below).  Lucky winners will each receive a prize consisting of great Westons Cider products.   If you consent, we’ll use the best photos in a promotional video showing cider lovers from around the country.

1. 4.1: Competition 1:  the opening date is 20 August 2020 and the closing date is 31 August 2020;

4.2: Competition 2: the opening date is 1 September 2020 and the closing date is 30 September 2020;

4.3: Competition 3:  the opening date is 1 October 2020 and the closing date is 31 October 2020;

4.4. Competition 4:  the opening date is 1 November 2020 and the closing date is 30 November 2020; and

4.5. Competition 5:  the opening date is 1 December 2020 and the closing date is 15 December 2020.

5.A.  To enter a competition:

5.A.a: Take a “cheers” photo of yourself (with a beverage);

5.A.b: Upload this photo to our website at https://www.westons-cider.co.uk/raise-a-glass/;

5.A.c:  Make sure that your photo is properly uploaded to our website during the appropriate Competition Dates for the “Raise a Glass” competition which you wish to enter, as set out above; and

5.A.d: You may enter one or more of the competitions (for example, validly upload a photo during September to enter the September competition, and upload a different photo during October to enter the October competition). If you enter more than one “Raise a Glass” competition, you may not upload the same photo for each entry.

5.B. The prizes:

5.B.a: The prizes on offer in each “Raise a Glass” competition (“Prizes”) are:

5.B.a.i: A case of Westons Cider;

5.B.a.ii: A pack of four glasses; and

5.B.a.iii: A branded Westons Cider T-Shirt.

5.B.b: For each “Raise a Glass” competition, qualifying entries will be entered into a monthly competition to win one of the Prizes. All qualifying entries have an equal chance of winning a Prize.

5.C. Promotional Video(s):

5.C.a: We would love to be able to celebrate Our 140th anniversary by creating and sharing one or more videos of competition entrants enjoying great cider.

5.C.b: If you are aged 25 or over and would be happy for us to include your photo(s) in our videos, please tick the “I am aged 25 or over and consent to my photo(s) being used in a video” box when uploading your photo(s).

5.C.c: Please note that due to rules regarding the promotion of alcohol, We will only be able to use your photo(s) if you consent to Us doing so and if you are aged 25 or over. By ticking the consent box when uploading your photo, you confirm that you are aged 25 or over.

5.C.d: If you do give consent for us to use your photo(s) in our videos, whether or not We include your photo(s) in any video will be at Our discretion and/or at the discretion of Our marketing agency.

5.C.e: Giving consent to Us using your photo(s) does not affect your chances of winning a Prize, and We may choose to use your photo(s) regardless of whether or not you win a Prize.

“Fan of the Match” Competitions

These Terms & Conditions govern our “Gloucester Rugby Fan of the Match” Competitions.  Celebrate our partnership with Gloucester Rugby and our passion for great cider by taking a photo of yourself enjoying a Gloucester Rugby Premiership home match from the comfort of your own home, be it live, or watching highlights and uploading this onto our website at https://www.westons-cider.co.uk/fanofmatch/.

We are running competitions for each home game between 28th November 2020 through to 11th June 2021 (the opening and closing dates for each monthly competition are set out in these Terms & Conditions, below).

Lucky winners will each receive a prize consisting of a case of Stowford Press cider, 4 Stowford Press pint glasses, a signed Gloucester Rugby shirt by your favourite player and a personalised video message from your favourite player.   If you consent, we’ll use the best photos on our social media.

1. The “Gloucester Rugby Fan of the Match” competitions are run by H.Weston & Sons Ltd (“We” “Us” or “Our”), and are open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland who are aged 18 years or over.   The promoter of these competitions is H.Weston & Sons Ltd, a company incorporated with company number 00672234 and whose registered address is The Bounds, Much Marcle, Ledbury, Herefordshire HR8 2NQ.

2. These terms and conditions apply to Our “Gloucester Rugby Fan of the Match” competitions.

3. By entering one of Our “Gloucester Rugby Fan of the Match” competitions, you:

3.2 agree that the decision of the judges is final and accept that We will not enter into any correspondence regarding the decision of the judges; and

Entries must be received from the opening date and before 11.59pm (English time) on the closing date of each competition.   The “Gloucester Rugby Fan of the Match” competitions are running from 28th November 2020 to 11th June 2021 inclusive and the opening / closing dates for each competition are as follows (“the Competition Dates”):

4.1: Competition 1: the opening date is 28th November 2020 and the closing date is 4th December 2020;

4.2: Competition 2: the opening date is 6th December 2020 and the closing date is 11th December 2020;

4.3: Competition 3:  the opening date is 2nd January 2021 and the closing date is 8th January 2021;

4.4. Competition 4:  the opening date is 20th January 2021 and the closing date is 5th February 2021;

4.5. Competition 5:  the opening date is 13th February 2021 and the closing date is 19th February 2021;

4.6. Competition 6:  the opening date is 27th February 2021 and the closing date is 5th March 2021;

4.7. Competition 7:  the opening date is 13th March 2021 and the closing date is 19th March 2021;

4.8. Competition 8:  the opening date is 27th March 2021 and the closing date is 2nd April  2021;

4.9. Competition 9:  the opening date is 24th April 2021 and the closing date is 30th April 2021;

4.10. Competition 10:  the opening date is 29th May 2021 and the closing date is 4th June 2021;

4.11. Competition 11:  the opening date is 5th June 2021 and the closing date is 11th June 2021;

5.A.  To enter a competition:

5.A.a: Take a photo of yourself enjoying the match and your favourite Stowford Press cider;

5.A.b: Upload this photo to our website at https://www.westons-cider.co.uk/fanofmatch/;

5.A.c: Make sure that your photo is properly uploaded to our website during the appropriate Competition Dates for the “Gloucester Rugby Fan of the Match” competition which you wish to enter, as set out above; and

5.A.d: You may enter one or more of the competitions (for example, validly upload a photo during 28th November 2020 to 4th December 2020 to enter competition 1, and upload a different photo during 27th March 2021 to 2nd April 2021 to enter competition 8). If you enter more than one “Gloucester Rugby Fan of the Match” competition, you may not upload the same photo for each entry.

5.B. The prizes:

5.B.a: The prizes on offer in each “Gloucester Rugby Fan of the Match” competition (“Prizes”) are:

5.B.a.i: A case of Stowford Press Cider;

5.B.a.ii: A pack of four Stowford Press glasses;

5.B.a.iii: A Signed Gloucester Rugby shirt by your favourite player and

5.B.a.iiiI: A recorded message from your favourite player. Both the signed shirt and the video will be supplied at the earliest possible opportunity however delays may incur dependant on Government restrictions.

5.B.b: For each “Gloucester Rugby Fan of the Match” competition, qualifying entries will be entered into a monthly competition to win one of the Prizes. All qualifying entries have an equal chance of winning a Prize.

5.C. Promotional Images(s):

5.C.a: We would love to be able to celebrate Our partnership with Gloucester Rugby by creating and sharing one or more images of competition entrants enjoying great cider.

5.C.b: If you are aged 25 or over and would be happy for us to include your photo(s) on our Stowford Press social media channels, please tick the “I am aged 25 or over and consent to my photo(s) being used on social media” box when uploading your photo(s).

5.C.c: Please note that due to rules regarding the promotion of alcohol, We will only be able to use your photo(s) if you consent to Us doing so and if you are aged 25 or over. By ticking the consent box when uploading your photo, you confirm that you are aged 25 or over.

5.C.d: If you do give consent for us to use your photo(s) on our social media, whether or not We include your photo(s) on our social media will be at Our discretion and/or at the discretion of Our marketing agency.

5.C.e: Giving consent to Us using your photo(s) does not affect your chances of winning a Prize, and We may choose to use your photo(s) regardless of whether or not you win a Prize.
