Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:  The "Win a Summer’s Supply of Stowford Press" competition is open to free trade, ‘free of tie’ licensees and agreed lessees of partnering wholesalers Randalls Jersey & RW Randalls Guernsey.

Exclusions: “Win a Summer’s Supply of Stowford Press” is not open to employees of H Weston & Sons Ltd or employees of partnering wholesalers, suppliers, or pub groups.

Entry: To register to enter our competition, all entrants are required to complete a form at www.westons-cider.co.uk/win-a-summer. To complete the form, internet access is required alongside a valid full postal address of the outlet and business email address connected to the outlet wishing to enter. By signing up to Win a Summer’s Supply of Stowford Press you agree to these terms & conditions as well as our general competition terms and conditions which appear on our main website. The available prizes are:

2 x headline prizes “Win a Summer’s Supply” of Stowford Press Apple, Stowford Press Dark Berry or Stowford Press Cloudy*

*A Summer’s supply is equivalent to 10 kegs, based on average throughput per C.I. outlet over a 4 month summer period

Entry Requirement: Outlets must purchase at least 3 kegs of either Stowford Press, Stowford Press Dark Berry or Stowford Press Cloudy between 16th October 2023 – 29th February 2024. Entrants must also continue to stock Stowford Press cider on 29th February 2024 in order to be eligible for a prize. For every 3 kegs purchased, an outlet earns one entry to this competition.

Purchase Requirement: An order for at least 3 kegs of Stowford Press, Stowford Press Dark Berry or Stowford Press Cloudy must be placed with your chosen Route to Market / Supplier or Pub Group during the period set out in paragraph 4 above for your entry to be valid. All orders and deliveries will be subject to the entrant having an account with the chosen Route to Market / Supplier or Pub Group, and in accordance with the delivery terms and conditions of the entrant’s chosen Route to Market / Supplier or Pub Group. Our Route to Market / Supplier and Pub Group partners include: Randalls Jersey & RW Randalls Guernsey.

Promotion Sign-Up Period: Entrants can access the Win a Summer’s Supply of Stowford Press sign-up form from 00:01 on 16.10.2023 until 23:59 on 29.02.2024. Any forms submitted outside of this period will not be accepted.

Selecting Winners: We will randomly select one winner for each prize from all eligible entries on 04.03.2024

We reserve the right to check that each selected winner meets the entry requirements set out in paragraph 4 above, and if a winner does not meet the requirements they will be disqualified and we will randomly select another winner from their region instead. An outlet can only win one prize and we reserve the right to choose another winner if an outlet is randomly selected more than once as a winner.

Notifying Winners: We will notify the winners using the contact details they provided on registration to enter this competition within 14 days of the draw. A list of the winning outlets will be published on www.westons-cider.co.uk/win-a-summer

Questions: All questions relating to Win a Summer’s Supply of Stowford Press can be sent to [email protected] and will be answered within 3 working days.

Data protection: All information provided in signing up to the Win a Summer's Supply of Stowford Press will be processed in line with the H Weston & Sons privacy policy available at www.westons-cider.co.uk.

Marketing: Licensees will only be contacted for marketing purposes after sign-up if they have given H Weston & Sons permission to do so via the sign-up form.

H Weston & Sons Ltd right to reject entrants: We are entitled to reject any entrant seeking to sign-up to the Win a Summers's Supply of Stowford Press if:

1. Breach of terms: the entrant is in breach of these terms & conditions, any other terms & conditions with H Weston & Sons Ltd, or the terms & conditions of any Route to Market / Supplier and Pub Group; or

2. Negative PR impact: it would reflect negatively on the name, reputation, or goodwill of H Weston & Sons Ltd or any Route to Market Partner / Supplier or Pub Group to accept the entrant's sign-up; or

3. Fraud/suspicious activity: H Weston & Sons Ltd suspects the sign-up is fraudulent or otherwise suspicious.

Events outside H Weston & Sons Ltd control: H Weston & Sons Ltd may change, withdraw, postpone, or limit the Win a Summer’s Supply of Stowford Press competition as a result of any act or event outside its control, including but not limited to: natural disaster, fire, flood, pandemic, terrorist attack, industrial dispute, change in law or regulation.

Liability for loss of Stowford Press, Stowford Press Dark Berry kegs or Stowford Press Cloudy: H Weston & Sons Ltd does not take any responsibility or liability for kegs ordered under the Win a Summer's Supply of Stowford Press that are lost, delayed or damaged. Responsibility and liability for loss, delay, or damage will be in accordance with the terms & conditions of the entrant's relationship with their Route to Market / Supplier and Pub Group.

Exclusion and limitation of liability: H Weston & Sons Ltd will not be liable for any loss, expense, or damage (in each case whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) arising out of or in connection with the Win a Summer’s Supply of Stowford Press and/or a licensee’s sign-up to it. However, nothing excludes or limits H Weston & Sons Ltd liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Discrepancy with marketing materials: If there is any discrepancy between these terms & conditions and the details in any associated promotional material, these terms & conditions will prevail.

Governing law and jurisdiction: These terms & conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
