Join us for an educational day at Westons Cider
School and College groups are welcome to spend the day with us. We will teach you about apple farming and the age-old English art of cider making.
Although over time priorities have changed for the Westons family, farming is still an extremely important part of our history and our culture. We retain our sense of heritage and tradition by producing, award-winning cider that began life on our family farm. Our draught and bottled products are available throughout the UK and are exported to more than 40 countries worldwide. An educational visit to Westons should be both a valuable area of study and a memorable experience.
Younger pupils can put on their wellies and head to our farm on a trailer and tractor. This allows pupils to see for themselves how modern farming works in an enjoyable and safe environment. Jumping aboard the tractor-pulled trailer, the children will meet the farmer and experience a tour of a proper traditional Herefordshire farm. Our farm encompasses both traditional and modern styles of orchards, arable land, livestock and a number of different habitats. This variety allows the children to experience all aspects of farming, old and new.
