Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) ensures that all of our Henry Westons range genuinely originates from Herefordshire and is made only from apples sourced in this region.
The fertile and nutritious soil here in Herefordshire allows apples and perry pears to thrive. In fact, it is common knowledge that apples are synonymous with Herefordshire with 60% of all cider apples being grown here and the apple being the county's emblem.
Making sure we only use fresh apple juice from apples grown in Herefordshire means we stay true to our founder Henry Weston himself. We use apples from the 400 acres worth of orchards that Henry lovingly planted and nutured over 135 years ago.
As demand has increased, we've had to source our apples from other local farms. To date we welcome a total of 325 Herefordshire farms that are registered and supply us with their bountiful apple crop
