Food lovers will be for a treat if they take the family to the Local Produce Market at Westons Cider this Sunday (6th September).
Westons are hosting their first Local Produce Market in what they hope will become an annual event. And to make sure there is something for all the family to enjoy, they are also offering FREE entry to their Traditional and Rare Breeds Farm Park for the day.
Visitors will be able to choose from a wide range of local produce, including apple juice, ice cream, pies, ready meals, scotch eggs, cheeses, eggs, vegetables, meat, poultry, game, cakes, herbs and plants. There will be free samples to try and the Scrumpy House will be selling hot dogs, using local pork and cider sausages and homemade relish.
And the free entry to the farm park, with Shire horses, Kune Kune pigs, Bagot goats, Alpacas and donkeys to name but a few, will keep the younger guests happy!, .
Heather Mead, Marketing Executive for Westons said: "We are really excited about this event and think Westons is an ideal venue for an event of this type. We can offer a safe environment with things for children, as well as adults, to do and this makes it enjoyable for all the family."
Westons is also offering tours of the mill on the day and FREE cider sampling in the Visitor Centre Shop. There is also a Children's Play Area, a Gift Shop, a Tea Room, the Henry Weston Courtyard Garden, and the Scrumpy House Restaurant, so it really will be a great day out.
In addition, Westons will be collecting donations for the Midlands Air Ambulance on the day.
