Stowford Press, the UK’s 5th largest draught cider brand with 80 percent growth in the last year*, has managed to beat off competition from major cider brands to form a three year deal with pub and brewing company Hall and Woodhouse.

The popular cider brand, made by Westons Cider, will be sole draught supplier to Hall and Woodhouse’s managed estate and preferred brand in their Badger pubs, totalling 240 stretching across Southern England.

David Harrison, Commercial Manager for Hall & Woodhouse Beer Company says, 'We are pleased to be introducing Westons Stowford Press into our retail houses and making it the preferred draught cider in our Badger pubs. Stowford Press has been available to our Badger pubs for a number of years and because of its quality has grown to establish itself as the lead draught cider. We are pleased to be working with Weston's Cider as our companies are both family owned and dedicated to producing quality products and services.'

Like Westons Cider, Hall and Woodhouse is a successful independent company which has been passed down through five generations of family and now employing 1,500 staff. Hall and Woodhouse’s famous Badger Ales are sold throughout the UK.

This latest deal with Hall and Woodhouse reinforces Westons Cider’s commitment to aligning themselves with other high quality operators in the marketplace.

Helen McIlveen, Brand Manager for Westons Cider, says “We are delighted to be working with Hall and Woodhouse to supply their 240 pubs with Stowford Press cider. As both Hall and Woodhouse and Westons Cider are independently run family businesses with reputations for quality products, we feel there is a strong synergy for a successful partnership.”

Stowford Press is Westons Cider’s most popular brand, with its quaffable appeal. The medium dry cider is produced using the finest quality ingredients, which are cold filtered and slowly matured to develop a light, refreshing, bitter-sweet cider with a fruity character. The amber-coloured cider has a ripe, fresh aroma, bursting with apples.
