Westons Cider has joined forces with Marco Pierre White to launch “The Governor Cider”. 

Created by Westons Cider especially for Marco this delicious, hazy English cider has a fresh apple flavour with hints of citrus and spice.

Westons Managing Director, Helen Thomas said “Marco has stocked our ciders in his pubs and restaurants for many years and I’m delighted that he approached us to develop The Governor Cider”.

Skilfully crafted using ages-old cider making knowledge, top quality locally sourced Herefordshire cider fruit and slowly matured in oak vats to deliver a rich character, The Governor has been deliberately styled to accompany traditional British foods like bangers & mash and roasts or can be enjoyed on its own.  In Marco’s words, “The Governor Cider is like an apple belini – fresh, fruity and smooth with an elegant mouth-feel”. Without question Westons cider mill produces the greatest commercial cider in the world!  My mother taught me as a young boy that a tree without roots in just a piece of wood.  Westons has very long roots!”
